Workflows stop working after opt-in – re-authentication

After opting in to the new ChiliDocs UI extensions, you need to re-authenticate the app once so that your existing HubSpot workflows keep working.

After opting in to the new ChiliDocs UI extensions, you need to re-authenticate the app once so that your existing HubSpot workflows keep working. Otherwise, workflow actions that use ChiliDocs may fail.

⚠️ Prerequisite – permission

Only users with the permission to edit integration apps (e.g. a Super Admin) can perform the re-authentication. If you don't have these rights, contact the administrator of your HubSpot account.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Settings (gear icon in the top right). In the left sidebar under "Account management" click "Integrations".
  2. The "Integrations" menu expands. Click "Connected Apps".
  3. In the "My Apps" section, search for "chilidocs" and click the entry.
  4. Stay on the "Overview" tab – do not switch to "Settings".
  5. Scroll down on the Overview to the section "App access and permissions".
  6. Click "Re-authenticate to enable" on the right.
  7. Follow the OAuth dialog and confirm the requested permissions. You'll be redirected back to HubSpot automatically.

After re-authentication, your existing workflows with ChiliDocs actions will work again as before – you don't need to change the workflows themselves.

ℹ️ Important note

If individual workflow actions failed during the time without permission, you can re-trigger them in HubSpot via the workflow history once re-authentication is complete.
