✏️ What happens when I change my filters?

Filters too narrow? Too broad? Here is when an automatic backfill kicks in and how you keep your existing Deals.

Filters aren't set in stone — you can change them any time in the "Filter" tab. What happens to your already-imported Deals depends on whether you're broadening or narrowing them.

🔼 When you broaden your filters:

Adding a canton, including new CPV codes, or removing a filter to capture more matches?

→ SIMAP Connect detects this automatically and triggers a rebackfill of the past 12 months for the newly added criteria in the background. You don't need to do anything manually.

🔽 When you narrow your filters:

Removing a canton, deleting CPV codes, or adding stricter keywords?

→ From now on, no new Deals matching the dropped criteria will be imported. But: existing Deals are not automatically deleted. They stay in your HubSpot pipeline because you may already be working on them.

🗑️ Manually removing existing Deals:

If you want to clean up Deals that no longer match your filters:

  1. Open the HubSpot Deals list and filter by simap_project_id is known.
  2. Sort/filter by the properties you now exclude (e.g. canton).
  3. Delete the irrelevant Deals via bulk action.

💡 Tip:

When in doubt, click "Preview" first and check how the hit count changes before you save. That way you avoid surprises.
