🔐 Permissions and re-authorization after the v6 update

v6 adds first-class support for quotes and optionally for orders, subscriptions and courses. These require new HubSpot permissions, which is why Pro portals need to re-authorize ChiliDocs once.

✅ What happens on Pro portals

After the update you'll see a notice in the app settings with an "Update" button. Clicking it opens HubSpot's authorization dialog – just like a fresh install.

✅ What appears in the consent dialog

• Quotes (read + write) – mandatory for the Pro license, as quotes are part of the core scope.

• Orders (read + write) – optional. Only tick if you use orders.

• Subscriptions (read) – optional.

• Courses (read) – optional. Requires the Courses object to be activated in your HubSpot data model.

Objects you decline cannot be used in documents. You can grant them later by clicking "Update" again and going through the consent dialog once more.

✅ Free installations

Free portals are not affected – no re-authorization is required.

⚠️ Important for workflows

If your workflow actions stop working after the opt-in, you need to refresh the workflow connection separately. Details: Re-authenticate workflows after opt-in.
