ChiliDocs card does not appear for users in teams

If the ChiliDocs card is invisible to some users, the cause is usually HubSpot team views – the card has to be enabled in each view separately.

You enabled the ChiliDocs card (opt-in), but some users don't see it? In almost every case the cause is HubSpot teams with their own record views – the card needs to be enabled in every view separately.

 

🔍 Cause

If you have configured multiple record views for a CRM object (Deal, Contact, Company, etc.), the default view is only shown to users who are not assigned to any team. Team members see the view configured for their team instead. The ChiliDocs card must therefore be enabled in every view separately – otherwise it stays invisible for the affected users.

 

Solution – step by step

  1. Open Settings (gear icon, top right).
  2. Go to Account management → Integrations → Connected Apps.
  3. Search for "chilidocs" and open the app.
  4. Switch to the "Settings" tab and open the "App cards" section.
  5. Click "Manage locations".
  6. Enable ChiliDocs for the desired objects. Tick the box in the "Middle column" – for every view in which team members should see the card, not only the default view.
  7. Click "Save".

 

After saving, the "ChiliDocs — Generate document" card appears in the middle column of all selected views – including for users assigned to a team.

 

ℹ️ Note

As soon as at least one team view exists for an object, the default view is no longer used for team members. Enabling the card only in the default view is therefore not enough.
