📦 Supported objects

ChiliDocs works with every standard HubSpot object and with your custom objects. Depending on the object, the functionality is available via the ChiliDocs card on the record page, through workflow actions, or as an associated object in templates.

✅ Card on the record page

The Generate card appears on:

• Contacts

• Companies

• Deals

• Tickets

• Orders

• Subscriptions

• Courses – only if the Courses object is activated in your HubSpot data model

• Custom objects

⚠️ Quotes: no card

HubSpot quotes don't offer a record page with tabs (new CPQ quotes only open a preview sidebar), so no app can place a card there. Quotes are nevertheless fully supported:

• as associated objects in templates generated on deals, contacts or companies

• in both workflow actions (Generate and attach document, Generate download link) directly on quotes

✅ Associated-only (no card, no workflow target)

• Line items

• Notes

• Users

Use these in templates via [line_item_table], [note_table] or [user.hs_email].

✅ Free plan

On the Free plan, the card appears on contacts only. Available placeholders:

• the contact itself

• the associated company

• the owners of both

• the current user (currentuser)

Anything beyond that requires Pro.

⚠️ Orders, subscriptions and courses: HubSpot feature + permission

These objects require that

• the matching HubSpot product / feature is active in your portal, and

• the corresponding permission was granted at install time (they are optional ticks in the consent dialog – see Permissions and re-authorization).
